[BR-COSL] Oilfield QHSE Director Full Time

Responsibilities

• Comply with the relevant safety laws and regulations of the country where they are located, practice the company’s concept of health, safety and environmental protection, and actively participate in the company’s safety culture drilling activities;
• Responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of relevant QHSE management records of companies/sub-contractors;
• Supervise and inspect the implementation and enforcement of safety rules and regulations of units;
• Regularly supervise and inspect the effective implementation of the relevant emergency drill system;
• Responsible for the evaluation of safety management personnel in units;
• Participate in the investigation, analysis and handling of accidents and incidents in the Uganda company, and track the implementation of corrective and preventive measures;
• Participate in the formulation, modification and improvement of various safety management systems in line with the clients’ requirements;
• Participated in the internal audit of the QHSE management system of company;
• Responsible for organizing the identification and implementation of HSE laws and regulations in Uganda;
• Responsible for maintaining the company’s QHSE system and continuously improving it;
• Responsible for the preparation and implementation of the internal audit plan of the company’s QHSE system;
• Responsible for effectively bridging with Party A’s QHSE management system;
• Participate in the formulation of the Uganda company’s QHSE annual work plan;
• Responsible for formulating the QHSE system safety training plan of company and organizing the implementation;
• Responsible for organizing the management review of the company;
• Responsible for tracking the rectification and closure of major non-conformities within the company;
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above;
• Engineering/safety/Environment;
• At least 8 years of experience in Oil and gas industry;
  Experience in drilling, completion and work over is an added advantage Understand COSL management/QSE policy and relevant business knowledge;
• Computer and document processing skills required for the job;
• Have strong coordination ability, execution ability, communication ability, language expression ability and writing level;
• Familiar with the relevant management system implemented by this position;
• Familiar with relevant national policies, laws and regulations to be implemented by this position;
• Certified Safety Engineer;
• Age under 40;
• Outstanding planning and organization skills;
• Proficient in Chinese and English.
