[BR-COSL] RIG Manager Full Time

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall operation management of the drilling rig project;
• Be responsible for the overall planning and arrangement of drilling rig project personnel, and make personnel planning according to the functional positioning of the project team;
• Be responsible for the overall coordination and organization of drilling rig equipment, and do a good job in equipment planning and management;
• Responsible in the maintenance and enhancement as appropriate, the rig and associated equipment to retain its asset value and marketability and to continuously improve the rig site practices;
• Be responsible for the market development of the project team and achieve the company’s objectives;
• Be responsible for approving the system of the project team and formulating practical system according to the development of the project team to ensure the feasibility of all work related to the rigs;
• Responsible for technical communication with domestic experts and seeking technical support to ensure improved drilling performance;
• Be responsible for the promotion of new business technology and actively provide CNOOC with full life cycle services. This requires ensuring safe production of drilling rigs;
• Plan and manage the rig related budget for the project;
• Ensure that all records and documentations are maintained at the rig sites and produce accurate and timely reports on rig operations;
• Supervise and inspect the implementation of drilling rig work, and guide the on-site person in charge to carry out work according to the COSL systems and client specific;
• Ensure timely review of the drilling program with the operator;
• In case of emergency, as a member of emergency leaders, participate in emergency deployment, organize personnel to carry out work according to the emergency plan and participate in incident investigation;
• During special operations, organize drilling rig personnel to carry out work and give full play to professional skills to ensure the smooth implementation of all work;
• Complete other tasks assigned by leaders;

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or above;
• Engineering/ drilling rig management experience;
• 10-15 years in oil and. gas drilling related activities More than 5 years of drilling rig management experience, able to bring the team to complete the operation independently. Have COSL/CNOOC rig experience management is a must;
• Master the QHSE management system, and be familiar with relevant laws, regulations and provisions;
• High political and ideological awareness, integrity and self-discipline; ? Knowledge of COSL systems;
• Strong professional skills, drilling and completion operation management and equipment management ability;
• Have strong coordination ability, execution ability, communication ability and language expression ability;
• Have the ability of market development;
• Hold the relevant qualification certificates required by the company.
